CENTRAL CONTAINERS
Central Containers is an off campus sustainable apartment complex for students that promotes environmental, social, and physical wellness. The goal of the design is to incorporate sustainable practices that reduce the cost of living and promote the well being of the residents and environment. The apartment is within walking distance from the university to reduce students carbon footprint. The design also has a recycle room for residents and has multiple study/lounge areas for the students to do homework. The atrium in the lobby produces natural light throughout the entire building. The apartment units are designed out of shipping containers and creates a minimal lifestyle for residents.
